Today I Created: A Wish Box

While cutting, make slanted slots as for easier fold.

  Project: Christmas Wish Box

  Difficulty: Intermediate

  Materials:

         - Two Rolls of Wrapping Paper
         - Double Sided Tape and Normal Tape
         - Wrapping Christmas Bows (Optional)
         - Mini Pad of Sticky Notes
         - Empty Shoe Box
         - Scissors

Get out your empty shoe box. Take off the lid. Set aside the lid. Discard any paper scraps that may be inside of shoe box.

Unroll the amount of wrapping paper needed to wrap your box. If you want to do the inside of the shoe box, cut the wrapping paper a little longer. Use your tape to tape down creases and hold paper down.

Once box is wrapped, wrap lid. Using your scissors, cut a decent sized square to slide wishes in.

Using your tape, place and attach the lid on to shoe box.

Grab your sticky notes and double sided tape. Place a piece of tape that is just the size of mini Sticky Note pad. Place Sticky Note pad, bottom first, on the tape piece.

If you have wrapping bows, decorate the box with them. Remove adhesive cover and place where desired.

Grab a pen and start making wishes! (Optional)

Today I Created: Holiday Jars

Try to remove any wrapper that may be on it, though.

    Project: Holiday Jars

    Difficulty: Easy

    Materials:

           - Mason (or Bell) Jars
           - Tissue Paper of Choice
           - Ribbon (Color of Choice)
           - Mini Ornaments (Shapes of Choice)
           - Tape
           - Scissors

Get out your Mason jar. Remove the top. Keep the band of the lid (the screw on part), but discard the lid.

Remove all ornaments from holder they came in. Place in empty Mason jar carefully (if dropped in, they will break) in pattern of choice.

Take out tissue paper of choice. Place 1 sheet over top of Mason jar. Cut bottom of tissue paper until it is as long as you desire.

Replace the screwable lid on top of tissue paper on top of the Mason Jar. Screw softly as to not tear. When fully screwed in, tape any tears that might have occurred.

Grab out your ribbon. Cut into 12-inch strands. Tie around screwable Mason jar lid. Double-knot ribbons. Get your scissors and and press thumb against dull scissor-blade side with ribbon ends in between. They should curl up after a couple tries.

    Enjoy your Christmas decor! (Optional)

Today I Created: A Thanksgiving Turkey

 Project: Paper Thanksgiving Turkey

 Difficulty: Easy

 Materials:

      - Construction Paper
      - Scissors
      - Two Sided Tape
      - Empty Toilet Paper Roll
      - Sharpie
      - Gold and Red Ribbons

Take your empty toilet paper roll and cut in half. Choose a half and set it aside. If you want to make two turkeys, keep the other half; if not, discard it.

Take out your construction paper. Cut into five 3-inch feather shape pieces. Tape to back of toilet paper holder, separated by briefly a centimeter.

Get out your gold ribbon. Cut into a 1-inch strand and fold into a triangle. Attach small piece of tape to middle of empty toilet paper roll. Attach gold ribbon triangle to piece of tape. Leave space in the bottom of tape piece for the turkey's beard.

Get out your red ribbon. Cut into a 1-inch strand and curl bottom. Attach under tape with beak on it. If tape does not stick, apply another small piece of tape to turkey beard.

Take out your Sharpie. Above the beak and beard, draw two dots for turkey's eyes.

Enjoy and Decorate with your D.I.Y Thanksgiving Turkey! (Optional)
